What is Different Baits?
Different Baits creates custom painted baits for all fishing enthusiasts.
It’s not about the fanciest rod or the most expensive boat. It’s about the fish, the moment, and the bragging rights.
How it works
The Battle
Each battle features two fishing photos side by side. One winner, one loser — no ties (unless it’s genuinely equal).
Your Vote
Sign in with Google and cast your vote. You get one vote per battle, but you can change your pick before the battle closes.
The History
Every closed battle lives on the leaderboard with final tallies — a permanent record of every showdown.
Supporting the Site
Different Baits is kept alive by a small number of sponsor slots in the side ticker. If you run a tackle shop, charter service, or any fishing-related business, contact us to ask about sponsor availability. Slots are limited intentionally — so your brand actually gets seen.
Who’s behind it
Paul Sturgill — a lifelong freshwater angler who was hooked on creating Different Baits when he made his first lure out of wood and painted it with nail polish. Based in MA USA .
